New victories of Publishing house “Bukrek” in the contest “The best book of Ukraine”

 

At once four books of publishing house “Bukrek” became winners and laureates of the National competition "The Best book of Ukraine" in 2011.

In a nomination "The World of childhood" ІІІ a place was got by "ABC of the history of Ukraine" by Yaroslav Paladiy. The research worker of the Chernivtsi regional museum Valery Belinsky became the initiator of reediting and author of preface.

“Hutsul embroidery” of Myroslava Shandrо (by Ukrainian, Romanian and English languages) gained the third place in a nomination “Art-book” ( publishing house “Bukrek”). Album of embroideries and tragic life story of Ukrainian family that living abroad managed to save love to the native Ukrainian culture and pass down it to posterity. If not Myroslava Shandro, her son Ostap, art critic from Ukraine Raisa Zakharchuk-Chugai, the world, maybe, would know never, what cultural riches were created by Hutsuls-Ukrainians in Romania.

In a nomination “Poetry” : I place was taken the by the “River of Heraclit” of Lina Kostenko (publishing house “Lybid”), ІІ a place is series of books for the children of the modern Ukrainian poets (publishing house “Grаnі-Т”); ІІІ place - “Through smoke of autumn combustion” of Tamara Severnyuk  (publishing house “Bukrek”).

In a nomination ‘The Best publishing project” : I place is series of books for children in Braille of publishing house “Grаnі-Т”; ІІ place is edition of publishing house “Bukrek” “From Ukrainian antiquity”( compiled by Petro Zhytar), ІІІ place is work of publishing house “Carpaty” “Selected works” of Vasyl Stefanyk (by the Hungarian and Ukrainian languages), compiled by Laszlo Balla.
